In the first match of the night, playoff hopefuls Puneri Paltan took on reigning champions Bengal Warriors. Despite being already out of the race to the next stage, the Warriors were not going out easily as they claimed a 43-36 victory in their final game.

Paltan still keep their chances of reaching the playoffs, but now they have to beat Jaipur Pink Panthers by a big margin to come close to the score difference of other teams.

The star for the Warriors was Maninder Singh, who scored yet another Super 10. Abozar scored four tackle points in defence.

As far as Puneri Paltan is concerned, their attack was led by young raider Mohit Goyat, who finished with a Super 10 and a couple of tackle points. Sombir, meanwhile, scored four tackle points, whereas Vishal Bhardwaj took three.

The Paltan lost the game in the last couple of minutes. Otherwise, things were pretty close throughout the match. A super raid by Rohit in a do-or-die situation changed the whole complexion of the game.

Puneri Paltan are now eighth in the standings and would now face JPP in their last game. Only one of the two sides will qualify for the playoffs.

In the second match of the night, Telugu Titans ended their nightmarish campaign with yet another loss to Dabang Delhi KC by a 32-40 scoreline.

Ankit Beniwal scored nine raid points while defender Muhammed Shihas scored a High five for the Titans. For DDKC, Vijay scored six raid points, while Manjeet Chillar managed three tackle points.

This was a dead rubber game as the result of this game was going to have no impact on the qualification process for the playoffs.

Tamil Thailavas were already out of the race for the playoffs, but Gujarat Giants had to win to remain in contention. And they did just that as they won 43-33.

Mahendra Rajput starred for them with a Super 10, whereas both Girish and Sunil scored four tackle points each, and Parvesh registered a High 5. For the Thailavas, Sagar scored four tackle points while Himanshu brought seven raid points.

This win has put the Giants seventh on the points table with 62 points from 21 games. They will face U Mumba in their last game, and a win would definitely guarantee them a place in the playoffs.
